The NEOM Board of Directors has announced the opening of Sindalah, marking a major milestone in NEOM’s development. Located five kilometers off the northwest coast of Saudi Arabia, the luxury island spans 840,000 square meters and serves as NEOM’s gateway to the Red Sea. Designed to accommodate up to 2,400 guests per day by 2028, Sindalah offers world-class hospitality, fine dining, and curated experiences. The development aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and is expected to generate around 3,500 jobs while enhancing the Kingdom’s tourism industry. Sindalah also features a state-of-the-art marina with an 86-berth capacity, a yacht club, and docking facilities, catering to European, Saudi, and GCC yacht owners.
Sindalah combines natural beauty with modern design, featuring a rich marine ecosystem with over 1,100 fish species and 300 coral species. The island’s development prioritizes sustainability and marine conservation, preserving its unique environment. Guests can enjoy luxurious accommodations, including 440 rooms, 88 villas, and 218 serviced apartments. The island offers a vibrant entertainment hub with 38 dining venues, luxury retail outlets, a beach club, and a golf course with two distinctive nine-hole experiences. Sindalah’s opening marks a key milestone in NEOM’s journey, reflecting its commitment to luxury tourism and economic diversification.
