Delilah, the renowned upscale restaurant and supper club, has expanded its footprint to Miami, bringing its unique blend of fine dining, live music, and entertainment to the vibrant city. Famous for attracting A-listers like Drake and Beyoncé, Delilah sets itself apart with its unexpected signature gourmet chicken tenders that, according to Vanity Fair, "walk an impressive tightrope between greasiness and elegance."
Co-founders John Terzian and Brian Toll, familiar faces in the Los Angeles club scene, established the first Delilah in 2016, creating a hotspot that quickly became a haven for the wealthy and fabulous. Following its success, a Las Vegas location opened at the luxurious Wynn hotel in 2021, and now Miami joins the list of Delilah's sought-after destinations.
The decision to bring Delilah to Miami was a natural one for Terzian, who views the city as the perfect blend of international allure and local appeal. The co-founders have been involved in hosting events in Miami for the past decade, cementing their belief that the Magic City aligns seamlessly with their vision.
Situated at the Four Ambassadors in Brickell, Delilah Miami stands out with its outdoor terrace, a first for the brand. Accessible by boat through its dedicated slips along the new Brickell Bay Boardwalk, the restaurant offers a distinctive arrival experience for guests.
Executive Chef Daniel Roy, formerly of The Matador Room and Stubborn Seed, heads the kitchen, infusing local insights into Delilah's menu. Roy describes the strategy as "product-driven," and Cubano fritters, a departure from traditional Cuban sandwiches, are an example of how he aims to give customers distinctive culinary experiences.
While maintaining the acclaimed chicken tenders on the menu, Roy emphasizes their gourmet quality, prepared with free-range chicken that is ground for a distinctive texture. Octopus a la plancha and the charred romanesco, a vegetable-focused dish with Roy's background as inspiration, are additional Miami-only offerings.
The menu reflects a Latin-inspired fusion, featuring coconut and lychee alongside seafood, steaks, and a raw bar. Prices range from $28 for a burger to $317 for a 40-ounce Tomahawk steak, ensuring a diverse range to cater to various preferences.
Acknowledging the allure of celebrities and tourists, Terzian underscores the importance of attracting year-round local diners, emphasizing Delilah's commitment to contributing to the community. With its Miami debut, Delilah seeks to redefine the city's culinary landscape, offering a distinctive and inclusive experience beyond the glitz and glamor often associated with such establishments.
