After being closed for renovations in 2020, Disneyland Paris is gearing up for the grand reopening of its five-star Disneyland Hotel on January 25, 2024. The hotel, situated at the entrance to Disneyland Paris, underwent an extensive royal transformation, with The Points Guy (TPG) offering an exclusive first look inside ahead of the reopening.
Originally opened in 1992 for the resort's grand inauguration, the Disneyland Hotel holds the distinction of being the park's only five-star accommodation. Boasting breathtaking views of Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Fantasia Gardens, the hotel promises an immersive Disney experience, coupled with easy access to both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.
The Walt Disney Imagineering team has dedicated years to meticulously redesigning and refurbishing every aspect of the hotel, from its grand lobby to its luxury rooms and suites. Natacha Rafalski, president of Disneyland Paris, remarked, "We are thrilled to unveil the newly reimagined Disneyland Hotel, a one-of-a-kind five-star property celebrating Disney's beloved royalty and storytelling. Our commitment to innovation and unparalleled guest experiences remains unwavering, and we look forward to welcoming guests to one of the most immersive hotels in Europe."
The Disneyland Hotel positions itself as the closest accommodation to the two parks, offering guests staying at the hotel early access to the Disney parks each day. However, this royal experience comes at a cost, with room rates starting at $1,450 per night for a superior room, reflecting the hotel's commitment to providing a luxurious stay.
This reopening marks the first instance of a five-star Disney hotel focusing entirely on Disney royalty as its theme, offering a unique and immersive experience. The design pays homage to iconic European landmarks such as Le Chateau de Versailles and Neuschwanstein Castle, incorporating references to beloved Disney princes and princesses from various stories.
The hotel features 487 rooms and suites, each meticulously designed by the Disney Imagineering team in collaboration with local and historical Disney supplier Atelier Bournillat. From subtle Disney references to full-size Madame de Garderobe doors in the Beauty and the Beast Signature Suite, each room exudes an enchanting and magical ambiance.
In addition to the regal-themed lobby, adorned with a spectacular Bohemia crystal chandelier, the Disneyland Hotel offers a variety of unique suites inspired by Disney classics. These include Cinderella, Rapunzel, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, and Sleeping Beauty Signature Suites, each with distinctive design elements reflecting the respective princess's story.
The hotel also introduces personalized services for guests, including personal stylists for young guests, a Royal Kids Club, and a free nursery service. Culinary offerings include the Royal Banquet Buffet Restaurant, featuring dishes inspired by Disney stories, and the upscale Lat Table de Lumiere, offering French fine dining.
As Disneyland Paris prepares to unveil its reimagined Disneyland Hotel, reservations are now open, promising visitors a grand and immersive experience fit for royalty.
