Jay Stein is evolving into a hotel concept maestro. From pedantic beginnings with lower end hotel chains, he began creating and executing on concepts that are now well known and coveted in the most discerning cities. Take NYC for example, where his Dream Hotel continues to draw in those looking for a hip scene and good energy nightlife.
He’s continued to innovate along the vein of combining modern edge, nightlife, and entertainment but he’s also embarked on a fruitful journey into high end boutique.
Named after Dream Hotel Group’s founder and chairman Sant Singh Chatwal, The Chatwal Hotel, with flagship location in NYC, has taken off and in fact is slated to open two more locations in 2021 in Mexico.
One only needs to read the reviews to get a sense of just how unique the boutique is. One guest commented, “I stayed her for Thanksgiving, and besides being the perfect spot, the staff was incredible. Anyone who stays at hotels a lot knows the staff can make or break a hotel. They are friendly and welcoming. the rooms are really nice, and well decorated. The rooms with balconies are really special. I was sitting outside at a fire pit, enjoying the night - right in downtown Manhattan. This has become one of my favorite hotels of all time.”
In addition to the Chatwal expansion, new Dream properties will open up in Atlanta, Dallas, Memphis, Palm Springs, Belize, Doha and Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico.
