The highly anticipated Four Seasons Hotel Osaka is now accepting reservations ahead of its grand opening this summer. Towering above the vibrant Dojima district, the new luxury hotel promises to redefine hospitality in Osaka.
Rami Sayess, President of Hotel Operations—Asia Pacific, expressed his excitement about the expansion of the Four Seasons portfolio in Japan. "We are incredibly excited to introduce ourselves in the intriguing city of Osaka," Sayess stated. "Here, we are inspired by the blend of historic traditions and Japan’s fascinating modern culture as we define a new level of luxury hospitality in the city."
The hotel's General Manager, Alastair McAlpine, emphasized the collaboration with Japan’s premier architects and designers, including CURIOSITY, SIMPLICITY, DESIGN STUDIO SPIN, and Nikken Sekkei. This esteemed team has created an array of beautiful spaces designed to welcome both international visitors and local guests.
Four Seasons Hotel Osaka will offer a comprehensive array of amenities. Six distinctive dining and drinking concepts will provide a variety of culinary experiences, from the Cantonese restaurant Jiang Nan Chun to the sushi restaurant Sushi O and the artisanal bakery Farine. The hotel will also feature a full floor dedicated to wellness, complete with a spa, a 16-meter indoor pool, a fully equipped fitness center, and traditional Japanese baths, or ofuro.
A highlight of the hotel's accommodations is the region’s first modern ryokan experience, housed on the entire 28th floor. Designed by SIMPLICITY, these 21 guest rooms and suites will feature traditional tatami mat flooring, sliding doors, platform beds, and dining areas that offer both traditional and standard seating. The Gensui 玄水 will have its own dedicated check-in desk, ensuring a personalized welcome for guests.
In addition to the ryokan experience, the hotel will have 154 rooms and suites spread across the 29th to 35th floors. Designed by CURIOSITY, these accommodations will be light and airy, with large windows and window seats that offer stunning views of the city and its waterways. The hotel’s public spaces and guest rooms will also showcase a contemporary art collection curated by Fumio Nanjo, featuring works by local artists and artisans.
The hotel’s event spaces, located on the second floor, include a 220 square meter ballroom divisible into three sections, an elegant foyer, and an outdoor terrace. Additionally, the Sky Salon on the 37th floor provides a more intimate setting for smaller gatherings, complete with a private kitchen.
Four Seasons Hotel Osaka is ideally situated in the Dojima district, within walking distance of the Umeda shopping, entertainment, and business district, and close to Kitashinchi's fine dining and Nakanoshima's art galleries and museums. Families will enjoy proximity to Universal Studios Japan, and nature lovers can explore Osaka’s beautiful cherry blossoms and leaf-spotting spots.
Reservations for Four Seasons Hotel Osaka are now open, with the first arrivals expected on August 1, 2024. Special packages, including a Grand Opening Offer, are available, inviting guests to experience Osaka in Four Seasons style.
