Henrietta Hotel in Covent Garden, known for its avant-garde approach to fine dining, is set to elevate its culinary offerings with the opening of Henri, a new bistro in collaboration with Jackson Boxer and the Experimental Group. Following their successful partnership at Cowley Manor Experimental in the Cotswolds, Henri aims to bring Parisian flair to London’s dining scene. The bistro, overseen by renowned French interior designer Dorothée Meilichzon, promises a blend of Parisian aesthetics and Covent Garden’s historical charm.
Led by Jackson Boxer, whose culinary prowess has been showcased at notable venues like Brunswick House and Orasay, Henri’s menu showcases inventive dishes such as Seaweed Canelé with crème crue and trout roe, and Cod with crab bisque and lime leaf. The bistro also offers classics like steak frites and a decadent 1kg Côte de Boeuf, complemented by Experimental’s signature cocktails named after French icons. Henri, expected to open its doors amidst Covent Garden’s bustling theater district, aims to deliver a memorable dining experience combining culinary excellence with sophisticated ambiance.
