According to the findings, an overwhelming 90% of luxury travelers are extending the duration of their vacations compared to previous years, signaling a shift towards indulging in longer and more immersive experiences. Furthermore, a staggering 87% of respondents plan to increase their travel expenditure in 2024, with Gen Z and Millennials leading the charge, as 95% of them express intentions to spend more on travel this year.

This sentiment is echoed by nine out of ten travelers who believe that collaborating with a travel agent is paramount for managing itineraries in real-time and addressing unforeseen challenges.

Group travel is poised to witness an uptick in 2024, particularly among Baby Boomers, Gen Z, and Millennials. A notable portion of respondents view group travel as an opportunity for shared experiences with friends, extended family, or romantic partners. Additionally, an overwhelming 93% of luxury travelers are willing to pay more for exclusive group experiences.
